Feature: iris

Today I want to feature iris, a 22 year old singer-songwriter from Norway since she dropped a killer new single - “cotton candy” - over the weekend.
Hailing from the same city as other rising and established Norwegian artists such as Sigrid, Aurora, and Kygo, iris grew up in a music centric house. She sang in her local choir, was introduced to artists like Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, and Joni Mitchell from her parents, and heard Biggie and Tupac from her brothers. Drawing from all those influences, she cultivated her own captivating alt-pop sound.
