Tunesday - Super Bowl Sunday

I couldn’t have a Tunesday post without mentioning the Super Bowl. The game ended up being pretty entertaining despite it almost being a blow out, but what stole the show (before Tom Brady) was Lady Gaga’s performance. It’s Gaga so I figured it’d be extravagant, but the production and amount of work that went into it…wow. It was also a lot of fun to see her play a variety of old and new material. Her show was a reminder of just how many of her songs I actually enjoy.

If you didn’t watch the game, then maybe you caught some of the commercials. There were a number of good ones this year, but those that stood out most to me belonged to T-Mobile. Why? I was surprised by how much music was incorporated (i.e. Justin Bieber being a spokesperson). The thing that excited me most though was hearing NAO’s “Bad Blood” (my favorite song of 2016) being featured in a couple of their ads.
