Chance Takes Three
I, like many others, have very mixed feelings about the Grammy’s. On the one hand, they celebrate the biggest hits, performances, albums and artists from the past year. On the other, the results of who end up receiving the awards usually ends up being controversial. While I could go on and write about those who got robbed, I don’t see what good that would do since the results are final. Instead, I’d like to focus on the positive news resulting from the ceremony.
Chance Takes Three
I’m not going to talk about everyone who won, but you had to have guessed I was going to talk about Chance. As you might have already seen, he walked away from the ceremony with three Grammys – “Best Rap Album,” “Best Rap Performance” and “Best New Artist.” I couldn’t be happier for him, especially because he did it all while being an independent artist. He also delivered an energetic, powerful, and soulful medley of songs from Coloring Book, including “How Great,” “No Problem,” and “All We Got.”
