Tunesday - Coachella Going Gaga
Happy Tunesday!
Even if you haven't been following Coachella news, you probably heard the news earlier this year that Beyoncé is pregnant with twins. While this is exciting news for Queen Bey, it raised a lot of questions for Coachella goers about whether or not she'd still be headlining the festival. Well, it was recently announced that she would no longer be headlining the festival due to safety concerns. For those disappointed they won't get to see her perform, it looks like you might just have to buy tickets to next year's show as she'll now be headlining in 2018.
This started a lot of rumors on who would be filling in as a replacement. Bookmakers even started making bets on who could be headlining the Saturday time slot, including high profile names such as Daft Punk, Jay Z and Rihanna. However, it was announced today that Lady Gaga will be taking Bey's place. While the decision won't make everyone happy and is sure to be the cause of a lot of discussion, the news isn't all that surprising given her Super Bowl performance and recent release of Joanne. If there's one thing that's for sure, it's that Gaga will give fans an entertaining show. Who knows? Maybe she'll even bring Beyoncé out to perform “Telephone.”
